2017 SINGLE BLOCK B2 PINOT NOIR

Block B2 is in the heart of the Clyde Park Vineyard – hand pruned, trained and harvested. Planted in 1995, this unique parcel was fermented separately with indigenous yeasts, 35% whole bunches included in the ferment and 9 months maturation in 1/3 new French hogsheads on full solids. The wine is intensely savoury with dried herbs, meats and spices but a core of vibrant red fruits. Firm and structural tannins on the palate drive length and balance.
