2022 SINGLE BLOCK E SHIRAZ

Block E is situated on the North Facing Slope of the Clyde Park Vineyard – hand pruned, trained and harvested. Planted in 1996, this unique parcel was whole berry fermented with a portion of whole bunches. Pristine fruit open fermented and gently hand plunged. Matured in a mixture of new and old French oak for 10 months before bottling.
Intense dark purple red colour, shining in the glass this wine shows depth and complexity. Aromas of dark chocolate and fresh liquorice, hints of black olive tapenade, cloves and blackcurrants. The palate is silky and dense with fine tannins and white pepper spice. Length and balance abounds in this wine with layers of flavour that lingers.
