Excellent dark crimson mulberry in colour, lifted raspberry and forest berry aromas, spiced cloves and cinnamon with a lively youthful core of fresh primary fruits. The palate is generous and textural, supported by fine elongating tannins that enhance the character of the wine. A long, elegant palate defines elegance and sophistication.
There are 5 blocks of Pinot Noir on the Clyde Park property, planted from 1986 through to 2000. These blocks comprise of 7 different clones, including MV6 and the Burgundian clones 114 and 115. The Estate Pinot Noir is a blend across these blocks, the diversity in clones and microclimates gives an array of blending components
